When I was distressed,Cuando estaba angustiado,

I sought the Lord At nightBusqué al Señor en la noche

I stretched out my handExtendí mi mano

But I can not be comfortedPero no puedo ser consolado

I remember You God and I groanedTe recordé Dios y gemí

I mused and my spirit grew faintMedité y mi espíritu se debilitó

You kept my eyes from closingTus ojos mantuvieron abiertos los míos

I was too troubled to speakEstaba demasiado angustiado para hablar

I thought about my former days the years long agoPensé en mis días pasados, los años de antaño

I remember my songs in the nightRecordé mis canciones en la noche

My heart mused and my spirit inquiredMi corazón meditó y mi espíritu preguntó

Will the Lord reflect forever¿Reflejará el Señor para siempre?

Will He never show his favor again¿Nunca mostrará de nuevo su favor?

Has this unfailing love vanished forever¿Ha desaparecido este amor infalible para siempre?

Has His promise failed for all time¿Ha fallado su promesa para siempre?

Has God forgotten to be merciful¿Se ha olvidado Dios de ser misericordioso?

Has the anger withheld¿Ha retenido la ira

His compassion Then I thought To thisSu compasión? Entonces pensé en esto

I will appeal The years of the right hand of the Most HighApelaré A los años de la diestra del Altísimo

I will remember the deeds of the Lord Yes,Recordaré las obras del Señor Sí,

I remember Your miracles of land agoRecordaré tus milagros de antaño

I will meditate on all Your worksMeditaré en todas tus obras

And consider all Your mighty deedsY consideraré todas tus hazañas poderosas

Your ways, oh God, are holyTus caminos, oh Dios, son santos

What god is so great as our God?¿Qué dios es tan grande como nuestro Dios?
