Beginning

In the beginning the lord made the earthEn el principio el señor hizo la tierra

The heavens the hills and the seasLos cielos, las colinas y los mares

Then he created the sun and the starsLuego creó el sol y las estrellas

The land the blue the treesLa tierra, el azul, los árboles

He made all creatures that lived in the earthCreó todas las criaturas que vivían en la tierra

And taught them to live by his planY les enseñó a vivir según su plan

Then as he rested the lord sanctifiedLuego, al descansar, el señor santificó

The seventh day for manEl séptimo día para el hombre

Molded in the image of his makerMoldeado a imagen de su creador

Man shall have dominion over allEl hombre tendrá dominio sobre todo

But because we're nothing more than humanPero porque no somos más que humanos

Sometimes we stumble somethimes we fallA veces tropezamos, a veces caemos

In the beginning the world was so rightEn el principio el mundo era tan correcto

Perfection was there for all menLa perfección estaba allí para todos los hombres
